Why Synergy?

Come be a part of the National Championship Synergy Cheer Allstar teams!  Open to all athletes, 3 years & up, experienced or not, wanting to become part of the largest & fastest growing competitive allstar cheerleading program in SW VA!  There is a place for everyone at Synergy Cheer!  Entering into our 6th Season, Synergy Cheer is the only program in the SW VA Recognized by American Cheerleader Magazine for our overall excellence, talent and sportsmanship (take a look at the Synergy in the News page!).  We have our own centrally located, 6,500 square foot cheer gym to call home and are located in the former CMT building on Brandon Avenue, an awesome facility that is perfectly suited to the sport of cheerleading.  Allstar cheerleading is a year round sport, but don't worry about the heat or cold because our gym stays a constant 70 degrees for the comfort of our athletes and parents!  We want to make sure that our athletes have the ideal environmental conditions!  We have some of the best coaches in the Valley, a fact proven by the success of our teams, and all are experienced & safety certified by the United States Allstar Federation (USASF), which is recognized as the gold standard of the cheerleading industry.  We have a combined 32+ years of cheerleading and tumbling coaching experience. Our routines are choreographed by a professional, award winning choreographer to make sure we have routines that keep us competitive and up on the latest trends.  We compete against some of the toughest teams in the country, and when we win, we can truly say we are the best!  

We strive to choose competitions to give our teams a chance to experience the thrill and excitement of the best of competition cheerleading. While we want to go to competitions where we are competitive, we always compete on spring floors to save our athletes joints and help prevent injury, and enjoy competing against other teams rather than a score, even if that means we don't always get 1st Place!    While we can't always guarantee competition, we want to make sure our athletes get the most out of their cheerleading experience and choose larger competitions as well as competitions we are familiar with to increase that probability! 

We have won several awards for sportsmanship, something we stress in victory or defeat.  Our parents and fans take the lead in showing their spirit for our teams which not only helps our teams succeed but also has won them several Best Spirit Awards!

Costs are very competitive and with our amazing Booster Club fundraisers & corporate sponsorships, payment plans, incentive plans & special discount programs, we hope to make allstar cheerleading open to everyone that wants to participate! 

We work with our long distance athletes to minimize travel and are also committed to working with our middle and high school cheer programs and their hectic cheer schedules in order that these cheerleaders may participate in allstar as well as their school programs!  We are working to enhance the skills of all area cheerleaders whether it be for school teams, allstar or both! 

Because our gym was designed specifically for the  cheerleading community, Synergy Cheer has more to offer the cheerleader than any other facility in town and is the only USASF certificed gym in the area!  Check out our facility page for pictures & more details! We dont share our gym with any other programs so are able to schedule practices at our own discretion and never around other programs schedules.  We also don't have any bars or beams to get in our way!  We also provide more gym time for the money so your cheerleader can get the most out of their allstar experience!
